Miscarriage and the Man's Perspective
In this, our first episode of Instructions For Living a Life, we have conversation with the Rev. Weston Pendergrass, a United Methodist pastor serving a church in Lexington, South Carolina. This episode of Part #1 of a two-part series on infertility, miscarriage, and infant and child loss, where Weston shares his experiences with all of these from the male perspective.
Weston has served lived literally coast-to-coast. He was born in California, grew up in New Mexico, went to college in Texas, spent a summer in Washington, spent a summer in Louisiana, went to school in North Carolina, worked in Texas, and is now in South Carolina. He is married to the Rev. Chrisie Reeves-Pendergrass, and together they parent one wonderful (willful) toddler. Weston is a self-identified homebody and introvert who also enjoys a good day spent out with friends. He is obligated to disclose that as a graduate of Duke Divinity School, he pulls for the Blue Devils in all sports, and especially must cheer for whatever team is playing against UNC-Chapel Hill. It's nothing personal.
